in the Old Police Station, Station Approach, Saxmundham, IP17 1BW
which is situated opposite Saxmundham Railway Station. Town
Council meetings are held in the Market Hall on the second Monday
of every month at 7.15pm apart from August.
Hall is available for hire for all types of functions including
theatre performances, club and society meetings, craft and antique
fairs, and so on. The Market Hall has a very prominent main entrance
off the High Street with wheelchair access. The Market Hall is licensed
for music and dancing, it has a stage with lighting, and a kitchen
fitted with cooker, microwave and dishwasher. It has about 300 sq
metres of floor space and can accommodate up to 190 people.

Hire rates for The Market
Hall from the 1st April 2011 and remain at the same rate are as
||£12.50 per hour
||£20.00 per hour
||£20.00 per day
rates include heating, lighting and the use of the kitchen. They
do not include red waste industrial bags used for litter - these
are £3.00 per bag extra. Please contact the Town

note: From 1st September 2014 onwards, the layout of tables
and chairs and putting them away as found is the responsibility
of the hirer.
IN FULL to Saxmundham Market Hall account must be made at least
two weeks before the hall is required.
If a booking is cancelled after payment any refund will be at the
discretion of the Town Council.
