Market Hall

The Town Council is based in the Webster Room which is situated at the rear of the Market Hall, just off Market Place at the bottom of Station Approach. The Entrance to the Webster Room is down a small flight of stairs.

The Market Hall is available for hire for all types of function including theatre performances, club and society meetings, craft and antique fairs, and so on. The hall has a very prominent main entrance off the High Street with wheelchair access. The hall is licensed for music and dancing, it has a stage with lighting, and a kitchen. It has about 300 sq metres of floor space and can accommodate up to 190 people.

The Hall is a registered charity, Number: 235072.

Hire rates for the Market Hall from the 1st April 2011 are as follows:

These rates include heating, lighting and the use of the kitchen. They do not include red waste industrial bags used for litter - these are £3.00 per bag extra. Please contact the Town Clerk for a booking form and to check availability. Tel: 01728 604595.

Payment

PAYMENT IN FULL must be made at least two weeks before the hall is required.

CANCELLATION: If a booking is cancelled after payment any refund will be at the discretion of the Town Council.
