Police
Suffolk Police (www.suffolk.police.uk)
is divided into three areas - Eastern, Southern and Western; within
these areas are 14 sectors which provide local policing services.
Overseeing the Constabulary's work is the Suffolk Police Authority,
which exists to ensure that the county's residents are offered an
efficient and effective policing service.

Ambulance
The East Anglian Ambulance NHS Trust (www.eastanglianambulance.com)
provides emergency and non-emergency transport services as part
of the NHS team in East Anglia. The trust was formed in 1994 by
amalgamating the Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk Ambulance Services.
The service operates over 100 frontline ambulances responding to
999 emergencies and GP urgent calls, while Patient Transport Services
is responsible for the routine delivery of patients to and from
hospital etc.
