Saxmundham Middle School
Saxmundham Middle School seeks to provide maximum opportunities
for all children aged 9-13 through a broad and balanced curriculum.
All children enjoy the benefit of specialist teachers who are enthusiastic,
well qualified and committed.
Our facilities have been developed and improved dramatically in
recent years, the most recent addition being a new computer room
and administration block.
We are a small school with classes that knows and values each pupil.
Our average class size at present is about 20.
We are a steadily improving school that is committed to raising
pupil performance by:
High quality teaching
High quality learning
High quality leadership
High quality care for
each pupil
High quality I.C.T. provision
and use
High quality resources
We believe that the best education is achieved through a close
partnership between home and school. Parents and others are encouraged
to visit the school at any time. Any visits or enquiries are very
welcome, as we are proud of our school!
The school provides a broad range of extra-curricular activities,
with a tradition of active school teams, and high quality school
concerts and productions. There is also a well-established programme
of holiday activities and courses for children.
We have good relationships with our feeder primary schools in Saxmundham
and are pleased to send our children on to Leiston High School which
has a growing reputation.
The school is open every evening and at weekends for a variety
of adult education courses, clubs and community meetings and activities.
