On Y Va group are organising a new bi-monthly bal with
some of the best live bands from around the country. Playing on the
1st Saturday of the month.

The venue is the market hall in
Saxmundham, (IP17 1AF) built in 1846 this hall has a large stage and
beauƟful wooden floor. The hall is in the centre of the small market
town, 2 mins walk from the railway staƟon, and a large free car park a
short distance away.

Bof!
In 2000 Bof! Started playing as a four-piece
band specialising in tradiƟonal French and
Breton music for dancing and listening to.
During that Ɵme they have played in folk
clubs, for dance groups and at fesƟvals in
England and France. The band’s repertoire is
mainly tradiƟonal music from Central
France and BriƩany, but also includes composiƟons by
members of the band and others. Bofs line up: Gwendal Moele (vocals),
Val Woollard (Bagpipes, Recorder, Flute, Desk bells), Simon Haines
(Diatonic accordeons, vocals), Phil Lyons (acousƟc guitar, bass guitar,
vocals)
