Dave Shepherd and Anna Pack
If you have never tried French or Breton dancing before why not come along and give it a go, for most of the dances you do not require a partner and some are fairly simple to pick up. Most towns in Brittany have a fest noz in the summer often weekly where the whole community meets up, dances, socialises and has a drink or two. There will be lots of people who will show you the steps. It appeals to both young and old, if you don’t fancy dancing, come along and just enjoy the wonderful music. Dave Shepherd and Anna Pack
Both these musicians are returning to play for us again, but this time as a duo. Anna Pack (Oscina) and Dave Shepherd (duo Shepherd/Gielen) have been playing together for over a decade. Their style combines Anna’s signature rhythmical box playing and Dave’s melody-driven fiddle lines. They both have extensive experience of the European folk scene.
Dave is currently touring with Blowzabella.
