Become a Councillor for Saxmundham
Saxmundham Town Council has two vacancies for Councillors. We would love to hear from members of the community who can dedicate a little bit of time each month to making Saxmundham an excellent place to live and work.
Anyone can become a Councillor, and in fact Councils appreciate members of all ages, backgrounds and viewpoints to support the diverse range of people in their parish. To be a Councillor you need to be:
- At least 18 years old.
- British or a citizen of the Commonwealth or the European Union
- Registered to vote in the area or have lived, worked, or owned property within the parish for at least 12 months.
