Dance with Deux Sans Frontiers’
If you have never tried French or Breton dancing before why not come along and give it a go, for most of the dances you do not require a partner and some are fairly simple to pick up. Most towns in Brittany have a fest noz in the summer often weekly where the whole community meets up, dances, socialises and has a drink or two. There will be lots of people who will show you the steps. It appeals to both young and old, if you don’t fancy dancing, come along and just enjoy the wonderful music. This month’s band are a duo comprising of Mark Prescott and Mike Gulston who have a shared love of entrancing music from France. Mark plays violin and fiddle and Mike octave mandola and guitar.

The dances are run by On y va! a french and breton dance club which is held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from September to May in the Fromus Centre, Saxmundham.

Tickets are £10 paid in advance and £12 on the door.
